Head of Marketing - OT Cybersecurity
Role Overview
Most OT security companies market like they're selling accounting software. We're looking for the person who finds that as offensive as we do. Power grids. Oil pipelines. Manufacturing floors. Water treatment plants. These aren't abstractions .... they're physical systems that keep civilization running, and they are actively being targeted by criminals and nation-states. This company exists to protect them. The product works. Fortune 100 customers and U.S. Government contracts back that up, along with funding from Founders Fund and others. What isn't built yet is a marketing engine. That's where you come in. You'll be the first person in this seat, working directly with the Executive team as well as field teams to translate deep technical expertise into market presence and pipeline. This isn't a "manage the agency and write the newsletter" role. You're the first marketing hire. You're building the function.

- ·Demand & Lead Generation - Design and run multi-channel outbound and inbound programs targeting OT security buyers — CISOs, COOs, plant managers, and the engineers who advise them. Build lead scoring that actually works so the sales team isn't chasing ghosts. Deploy ABM plays for Fortune 500 industrials and U.S. Government accounts
- ·Brand & Market Presence - Make Our Client the name that surfaces when a COO asks their CISO, "who should we look at?" — through thought leadership, events, media, and analyst relationships
- ·Pipeline Foundation - Create intelligent nurture tracks tailored to Operations Leaders, Security Executives, and Technical Evaluators — not generic drip sequences. • Build sales enablement materials that actually accelerate deals, not just fill a SharePoint folder.
- ·AI-Powered Everything - Use AI as infrastructure … one input, many outputs. Content, competitive intel, personalization, reporting. Structure the company's digital presence so Our Client appears accurately when buyers use AI tools to evaluate OT security vendors.
Relevant Skills and Experience
You're the right person for this if you have:
- ·8+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 3 in a leadership role at a Series A/B company building from scratch
- ·Real experience generating pipeline for complex technical products with $100K+ ACVs and long, multi-stakeholder cycles
- ·Background in cybersecurity, OT/ICS, or industrial technology — or you've marketed to the people who live in that world
- ·An AI-native approach to marketing: you're already using it across content, research, personalization, and reporting
