Role Overview

Execute authorized red team engagements against industrial control systems. You understand Modbus, DNP3, and how to probe PLCs without tripping plant operations. Make the evaluation count. Lead tailored demonstrations, proofs of concept, and security assessments. Help customers establish what success should look like before the testing starts.

The Mission

·Conduct safe, authorized penetration testing on industrial control systems and SCADA networks.
·Develop custom tools and scripts to assess proprietary industrial protocols.
·Perform physical security assessments of remote sites and control centers.
·Carry context into onboarding. Work with customer success so requirements, expectations, and technical findings survive the handoff.
·Turn field experience into something useful. Bring customer feedback to product teams and share your expertise through technical content and industry events.

Relevant Skills and Experience

·Proven experience in OT/ICS penetration testing (OSCP, GPEN, or similar).
·Ability to write custom scripts in Python, Go, or PowerShell.
·Willingness to travel to client sites (plants, refineries, substations) up to 30%.
·Working knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, and user and entity behavior analytics.
·The ability to explain a technical decision clearly to both security practitioners and executive buyers.
·Strong troubleshooting instincts and the judgment to investigate before giving an answer.
